Ben Silverman
Founder & Chairman
Ben Silverman, the Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning producer is the Founder and Chairman of Electus. The company was launched in July 2009, in parternship with IAC, a leading Internet and media company chaired by Barry Diller.
At Electus, Silverman has executive produced major network and cable hits, including NBC's "Fashion Star", the "Mob Wives" franchise, and "King of the Nerds" on TBS. Currently, Silverman is in the midst of executive producing serveral new series including "Marco Polo" for Starz, "The Hero," starring Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson on TNT, "Dog and Beth: On the Hunt," a series with Dog the Bounty hunter on CMT, " Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls" on NBC, "I'm Not Dead Yet" at TV Land and more!
Prior to launching Electus, Silverman served as Co-Chairman of NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios from June 2007 to 2009.
As Founder and former CEO of Reveille, Silverman is executive producer of the Emmy Award-winning NBC comedy "The Office" and the Golden Globe-winning comedy "Ugly Betty," co-creator and executive producer of the hit NBC reality show " The Biggest Loser" as well as co-creator and executive producer of the criticially acclaimed "The Tudors" for Showtime.
Chris Grant
Chief Executive Officer
Chris Grant joined Electus in November 2011 as the CEO, where he is responsible for overseeing the company’s next phase of growth across global and domestic TV, digital and branded entertainment.
Prior to joining Electus, Grant served as President of Shine International, the global sales and distribution arm responsible for distributing programming from the Shine Group companies. There he transformed formats including "MasterChef," "The Biggest Loser," "The Moment of Truth" and "Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader?" into truly global television brands.
Prior to founding Shine International, Grant served as a Managing Director of independent studio Reveille.
Drew Buckley
Chief Operating Officer and Head of Digital
Drew Buckley is the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Digital of Electus where he is responsible for overseeing finance, acquisitions, and all transactions within Electus and their partner companies.
In addition, Drew oversees a team of digital executives focused on creating new content experiences for its Premium YouTube Channels and its slate of Programming with Yahoo! Comedy and Lifestyles.
Prior to Electus, Drew served as Executive Vice President of Windsor Media, Terry Semel's, former Chairman and CEO of Yahoo!, investment firm. Windsor Media is a holding company of controlling assets in the Media, Entertainment and Luxury brand Industries.
Laura Caraccioli
President, Content Marketing
Laura Caraccioli is the President of Content Marketing for Electus where she is responsible for changing the way content creators and advertisers interact, bringing top-quality programming to consumers via the web, TV and film.
Laura has spearheaded major deals with top brands such as Proctor & Gamble, Unilever, Maybelline, Fiat, Orbit, Macy's, Saks Fifth Avenue, Express, and many more. She is responsible for all branded entertainment projects across television, film, and digital for Electus and their partner companies including DumbDumb, Will Arnett and Jason Bateman's digital production studio. DumbDumb's projects include Orbit Dirty Shorts which won the 2011 Gold Pencil, Silver Clio Award, and was shortlisted at the 2011 Cannes Lions Festival, and Denny's Always Open which won a Bronze Lion at the 2012 Cannes Lions Festival. In addition, Laura was responsible for producing three of the world's largest retailers for the groundbreaking multi-platform series, "Fashion Star."
Prior to joining Electus, Laura served as Executive Vice President of Starcom MediaVest Group and won numerous awards in recognition for her work. In addition, Laura sits on NBC's Women Advisory Board.
John Pollak
President of Electus International
John Pollak is President of Electus International, the global sales and distribution arm of Electus, where he oversees the international strategy and execution for the growing slate of programming within Electus and its content labels. Pollak also leads distribution of Electus’ programming as well as programs and formats from other well-known 3rd party providers.
Prior to joining Electus, Pollak was Executive Vice President and Head of Worldwide Sales for Shine International. He was responsible for the global sales and distribution of programming from the Shine Group companies. Pollak drove sales for some of the world’s most successful non-scripted formats including "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?," "The Biggest Loser," "American Gladiators," "The Moment of Truth," "MasterChef" and Shine International’s first scripted network series – "The Listener," a successful co-production between NBC, Fox International Channels and CTV in Canada.
Joshua Sussman
SVP, General Counsel
Joshua Sussman serves as SVP, General Counsel at Electus where he oversees Business & Legal Affairs.
Prior to Electus, Josh was VP, GC of Programming at IAC/InterActiveCorp. At IAC, Josh had a dual role; overseeing Business & Legal Affairs for IAC's programming businesses (which included CollegeHumor Media, The Daily Beast and Notional among others) and helping IAC senior management oversee operations of those businesses. Prior to that role, Josh served as Corporate Counsel at IAC. Prior to IAC, Josh was an associate for five years at the law firm, Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP.
Josh graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan. He received a Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law where he also served as an Editor of the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal.
Jimmy Fox
Head of Creative Development
Jimmy Fox is the Head of Creative Development at Electus where he oversees the company's development slate of television projects including drama, comedy and unscripted. He is an Executive Producer of the hit series "Mob Wives" on Vh1 as well as the show's two spin-offs "Mob Wives: Chicago" and "Big Ang," the TBS comedy reality series "King of Nerds," the hit reality competition series "Fashion Star" on NBC, and Spike TV's " Car Lot Cowboy." Fox's additional producing credits include ABC's upcoming reality game show series "Bet on Your Baby," and Starz drama series "Marco Polo."
Jimmy spent two years at NBC Universal as coordinator working alongside Chairman Ben Silverman, before leaving to join Electus.
Prior to joining NBC, Jimmy worked at Creative Artists Agency in their television department . Jimmy graduated cum laude from California Lutheran University.
